What if the myth of Atlantis was not a cautionary tale of the past but a prophecy of the future?
sitnaltA reimagines the legend of a sunken civilization within the framework of contemporary climate crises. It transports viewers to the speculative year 2702, when humanity, having depleted its natural resources, retreats to higher ground and a virtual existence—an era known as “The Age of Suspense.” Showcasing emerging London-based artists, sitnaltA evolves from a collaborative world-building process between curators and artists. Employing fictioning as a curatorial approach, the exhibition presents artworks as synthetic artifacts—hybrid compositions of lost relics, cultural fragments, and reconstructed memories, interpreted by future generations.
